Sharee is one of the 14 Wizards featured in Master of Magic. Her default profile is 5 5 Conjurer.
Description[]
Sharee is a voodoo priestess with a paranormal talent, an ability to commune with the spirits of lower planes of Chaos and Death. Sharee may forge pacts with these beings or bind them to her will with secret rituals. Her methods are considerably more efficient than the summoning spells of other wizards, earning her the retort of Conjurer. Her goal in establishing a Fortress is to send swarms of death servants out roaming the world, searching for dark secrets in dark places.
Sharee is one of the wizards linked to Earth ethnic groups, not fitting in context with the game's three human Races. She appears as a fit, dark-skinned female dressed in nothing but a red bead loincloth. She wears quite a bit of ornamentation, including a feathered headdress with a skull and Ndebele neck rings.

Sharee's portrait may be selected for a custom Wizard when starting a new game at any Difficulty setting above "Intro" in the official game, or respectively "Easy" in the unofficial patches. Selecting either her default profile or her portrait prevents her from being encountered as an opposing Wizard.

- This split profile introduces how the evil colors combine. Conjurer works well with it. Sharee benefits most from leading a peaceful, productive race and handling military matters herself.
- Use a Magic Spirit to scout, use an army of Hell Hounds against Encounter Zones, and continually summon Ghouls to capture neutral Towns. Carefully estimate the number of ghoul units needed to win the battle, since they will be making certain arrangements for the town's garrison. Usually, Skeletons will be available for research and will be the cheapest form of Illusions Immunity.
- The default Wizards feature each possible combination of either one solid or two evenly-split Realms of Spellbooks, as per the following table:
Default Profiles Portrait Wizard Name Traits Portrait Wizard Name Traits Merlin 5 5 Sage Master Sss'ra 4 4 Myrran Raven 6 5 Tauron 10 Chaos Mastery Sharee 5 5 Conjurer Freya 10 Nature Mastery Lo Pan 5 5 Channeler Horus 5 5 Archmage Jafar 10 Alchemy Ariel 10 Charismatic Oberic 5 5 Mana Focusing Tlaloc 4 5 Warlord Rjak 9 Infernal Power Kali 5 5 Artificer

If not chosen, Sharee may appear randomly among the computer-controlled opponent Wizards. She is very violent, and having a nice long war with her will earn Fame and Experience. Unfortunately, the random churnings of the AI will occasionally switch her from summoning to direct nuisance spells targeting the player.
Wizards' finalized Spellbook and Retort picks strongly influence the worldgen die rolls for AI Personality and Objective. At the "Normal" Difficulty setting and above, there is a 20% chance of either her Death or Chaos aspects rolling up into a single color. Taking this into account, Sharee's typical traits are predicted below.
Sharee |
Personality | Objective | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Chaotic | 46% | Militarist | 47% | |
Ruthless | 21% | Expansionist | 24% | |
Aggressive | 20% | Theurgist | 15% | |
Maniacal | 12% | Perfectionist | 15% | |
Lawful | 1% | |||
Peaceful | 0% |
Higher Difficulties subject a Wizard's default profile to increasingly arbitrary adjustments, including exposure to random Realms and skills. At the "Impossible" setting, be prepared for anything.
Starting Spells[]
At the start of the game, a non-customized Sharee knows all spells specified in the table below. The known spells of a randomly generated opposing Sharee depend entirely on the type and quantity of Spellbooks. For more information see the Wizard article. How many spells are researchable throughout the game depends on this as well.
